*Lobi Stars to represent Nigeria in CAF Champions League *No team to be relegated and 4 teams to be admitted from NNL *2018/19 NPFL Season to be abridged An emergency joint consultative meeting of the League Management Company (LMC), the 20 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) participating Clubs and members of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) Executive Committee resolved amongst many other far reaching decisions to declare Lobi Stars as the country's representative in next season's CAF Champions League. The meeting was called against the backdrop of the adverse circumstances in the administration of football in the country, which resulted in the indefinite suspension of the resumption of the (NPFL) leading to huge fixture congestion for both league and cup competitions. The second of the six point resolution of the meeting was that none of the 20 NPFL Clubs shall be relegated to the lower league.

So I did a bit on Twitter. I did a run down of players who have impressed me so far this season. Ten players in all who have caught my eyes.   Refutes allegations against its Directors The attention of the League Management Company Ltd (LMC) has been drawn to a statement by a group claiming to be the “Board of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF)” in clear contravention of the known football governance statutes and regulations and also purporting to direct the Chairman of LMC Shehu Dikko and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Salihu Abubakar to step aside on grounds of an alleged committal to prison of the two officers by a Jos High Court in 2016  for contempt of court in the case involving one Mustapha Abubakar  (suing for Giwa FC) and LMC. The LMC has so far maintained a studied silence since the contrived crisis in the NFF took root as we always believed the extant football rules, regulations and statutes would ultimately prevail and the company would want to, in line with its own governance rules, maintain this stance. Even Tuface wasn't impressed. I haven ’t been able to pen down my diaries for almost three days because I've been mentally exhausted for that period. Nigeria’s loss to Argentina made things worse and then I suffered food poisoning because I ate some local Naija rice and topped it up with some chicken wings from KFC. Omo, I no fit sleep. The shit wey I shit no be here sha. Feel free to laugh but I wish you same per what you are laughing at right now. I had to go get fluids to replace what I had lost. Ademola Olajire was very helpful and linked me up with a doctor but by then I was feeling better and elected not to take any other drugs again. No be for Russia I go come sick. Back to the matter.

I've been really tired and stressed out of recent so penning a diary was kinda difficult. I'm sorry again this is coming late. A kinda summary but I do hope you enjoy reading this piece. So we did the fan fest thing with Tobi Adepoju, Deji Adegbenro and Aro Olaoluwa and it was a massive hit. I wonder why we didn ’t think of going for such events in the first place. It was all fun as we met with a lotta folks from different countries.
